Local Government Elections - 4 December 2021

The next Election for Campbelltown City Council will be held on Saturday 4 December 2021. The Minister for Local Government has made an Order postponing the Local Government elections until Saturday 4 December 2021.

Campbelltown City Council has entered into a contract with the NSW Electoral Commission (NSWEC) to conduct the 2021 election of its Councillors. For Campbelltown City Council there will be an election for 15 Councillors.

Key Dates:

6pm Monday 25 October 2021
Close of Roll for the purposes of being a candidate, nominator and roll printing

12noon Wednesday 3 November 2021
Close of nominations and close of registration of candidates and groups

Monday 22 November 2021
Pre-poll voting opens

8am – 6pm Saturday 4 December 2021

All Campbelltown City Council residents on the electoral roll will vote in the Local Government Election on 4 December 2021.

You can check if your enrolment details are up to date with the Australian Electoral Commission.

Non Residential Roll

The non-residential rolls provide people who are non-resident owners, occupiers and rate-paying lessees of rateable land within the council area an opportunity to have a say in who is elected to council.

Non-resident owners, occupiers and rate paying-lessees can apply to be placed on the non-residential roll to be eligible to vote in the election.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Applicants who applied for the non-residential roll before the election date was postponed to 4 December 2021 DO NOT need to reapply.

Applications to be on the non-residential roll close on 25 October 2021.
